about

An imaginary soundtrack? A collection of macabre musical visions?...
"Dangerous Playground" is a title that works on many levels, as the precarious nature of spontaneous free improvisation can lead to the most unlikely successes and disasters, like the incorrect turning of a filter control or effects patch could lead to a huge surprise or to a horrible distorted wall of feedback! Such things happen, and that's where the ability to cut and paste, mix and remix, all earn their place as extra tools in the Triax work as you hear it.

This is CD1 of a 2xCD 1181/2 minute opus

Dave added many more instruments to his repertoire since, and Triax can vary from ambient drone, via systemic, dirge and raga/folk hybrids on to psychedelic rock, Krautrock and eclectic avant-garde. ... more
