A diversion to shorter sketches, figurines and miniatures, diverse fragments taken out of larger excursions, hence the title "Shattered" and (from myself, Alan) a deliberately different instrumentation involving guitar controlled "analogue" electronics, bowed springs and other gadgetry.

Born out of the Extremities project, in a sense, in 2003 Triax couples Alto Stratus with the strangely processed hurdy-gurdy of Dave Powell, for a unique new hybrid.
